You can store your files in the cloud with Google Drive. You can also install the desktop and mobile application to access your files from your computer or Android or iOS mobile device. Google Drive's built-in sync capability ensures that your files, folders, and Google Docs are the same on all your devices.
Drag files into Google Drive On your computer, go to drive.google.com. Open or create a folder. To upload files and folders, drag them into the Google Drive folder. Google Drive initially offered all its user a 5GB free cloud storage space which is now increased to 15GB. Users can use this 15GB space across three channels i.e. Google Drive, Gmail, and Google+ Photos. In order to backup your photos onto Google Drive specifically, you need to have the Google Drive App installed on your iPhone. Go to Google Play Store & download Google Drive App on your Android phone. Now open your photo gallery and start selecting photos and / or videos that you wish to upload to Google Drive. Once the selection in made, click 'Share' button. Google Drive files can be accessed from any device. Once the files are stored in the Drive they can be accessed and edited from any device and anywhere with just a login. So where ever we go Google Drive will get our files there. Google Drive files can be shared. All the stored files can be put on view or download or collaborate with our friends.
You can use Google Drive File Stream to stream My Drive and Shared drives files directly from the cloud. This desktop application allows you to open and edit most document types directly out of Drive File Stream without having to download the file onto your computer. When you make edits to the file, the changes are automatically saved in My Drive.
